About us

~ALL SAINTS CHURCH QUEENSBURY~
This Church is within the Anglican traditions, more commonly known as ‘The Church of England’.  Within our National Church there is a great choice, with individual churches giving greater emphasis to some aspects of Anglican belief than others.

All Saints is the Church of your neighbours who live locally and come together for regular services and prayers and in fellowship with one another.
We join in activities with other Churches and have great friends at the nearby Methodist Church. We have a sense of togetherness and equality with all people wherever they come from and whatever their background or gender.

At the heart of this is the sharing of Holy Communion when we accept the bread and wine in remembrance of Christ.  Holy Communion is offered at both the 8:00am and 10:00am Sunday services and at other times during the week.

The Services are based on the Church of England ‘Common Worship’ and on the service in the Book of Common Prayer on the first Sunday of the month at the 8:00am service.
We enjoy having children at our services. There is a crèche at the back of the Church for babies and our older children are encouraged to join the ‘Little Saints’ who meet in the Hall. There are lots of activities for all ages under the supervision and teaching of qualified leaders.  Later they are brought back into the Church to join the congregation for Holy Communion.

We serve the community and one another with our home visitors to the sick and housebound, the team of bereavement counsellors, a baptism support team and a monthly luncheon club. There are also study groups and social events.  The Vicar is a frequent visitor to Stag Lane School and is on the Board of Governors.  He also accompanied members of the School on their recent week away.
The Church Hall hosts a wide range of activities provided by local clubs from pre-school toddlers to ‘over sixties.
We hope you have found this interesting and do hope you will visit us.  There is tea, coffee and biscuits after the 10:00am services so do stay and meet the congregation and have a chat with them
